- Boulder Chorale: Planning to do virtual activities with singers this fall. We have not planned anything beyond that time. There will be no performances or concerts this fall either.
- Cheyenne Capital Chorale: On AugustĀ 3, the Cheyenne Capital Chorale Board decided to cancel their October concert which allows us to continue our search for a music director. If we have a director by the end of October, we will proceed with preparations for our annual Christmas concert if conditions allow for it. We, too, will monitor the International coalition of performing arts sponsors and supporters and the continuing Performing Arts Aerosol study: https://www.nfhs.org/articles/unprecedented-international-coalition-led-by-performing-arts-organizations-to-commission-covid-19-study/ (updated August 7)
- Cheyenne Chamber Singers: We are a bit in wait and see mode at the moment, waiting for the results from the CU study that will hopefully be released this week. We will be polling the singers to see where folks are at. we may shift our mission slightly just to give people the opportunity to sing in a ‘safe as possible’ manner, even if it doesn’t include performance at this point. Depending on what the members say, we will try to proceed or we will put things on hold until January and then reevaluate. (updated July 28)
- Greeley Chorale: Cancelled fall and holiday. Will continue to assess beyond that.
- Larimer Chorale: Our fall season will be kicking off next week. We have approximately half of our singers who will be singing virtually only and the other half have expressed the desire to sing in person outdoors plus virtually. We’ll be doing a virtual concert in October, and are aiming to do a handful of smaller, outdoor concerts for fall. Christmas will most likely be entirely virtual. Then we’ll see about spring! (updated August 25)
- Laudamus: Definitely no fall concert. Highly unlikely that there will be any concerts in the 2020-2021 season.
- Loveland Choral Society: Canceled planned fall concert in October. With the restrictions at the Rialto, where we perform, plus not having an available rehearsal space, we thought it best to make this decision now.
- Rocky Mountain Chamber Singers: RMCS has officially canceled our fall semester. We’re not holding our breath to resume in January, but are not officially canceling the spring semester until we know more about what the late spring might look like. We are exploring some sort of virtual option for the holidays. (updated August 24)
- Windsor Chamber Chorale: Cancelled the Fall 2020 session. Alise is hoping to upload Spring 2021 songs and some harder Christmas 2021 songs to MuseScore so that we can practice at home and get a head start on the two upcoming seasons. We will try have some Zoom meetings to talk about the music and ask questions. Hopefully we will be able to meet in the Spring.
